Pre-reduction

The most ideal treatment technology for laterite ore should be pre-reduction. Usually, the dried laterite ore is mixed with the reducing agent coal or coke to form agglomerates, which is pre-reduced in a rotary kiln to reduce nickel oxide and iron oxide to nickel, as well as the reduced sintering material of partial residual low-order iron oxide, and It is charged into the electrode paste electric furnace in the red hot state, or the nickel-iron metal particles selected in the cold state are added to the electric furnace, and smelted and processed into stainless steel.
