Preparation materials for electrode paste

Preparation of electrode paste raw material electrode paste is a kind of carbon material. In theory, it can be prepared from any material with high carbon content. In the production of conventional carbon materials, the raw materials for the production of carbon and graphite materials are all carbon raw materials. Different from the production process, its chemical structure, morphological characteristics and physical and chemical properties are very different.

According to the classification of physical state, they can be divided into solid raw materials (ie aggregates) and liquid raw materials (ie binders and impregnants). Among them, solid raw materials can be divided into more ash raw materials and less ash raw materials according to the content of inorganic impurities. The ash content of low-ash raw materials is generally less than 1%, such as petroleum coke, pitch coke, etc. The ash content of ashy raw materials is generally about 10%, such as metallurgical coke and anthracite.

The commonly used raw materials can be divided into the following categories:

① Solid carbon raw materials. There are mainly petroleum coke, pitch coke, metallurgical coke, anthracite, natural graphite, artificial graphite, carbon black and production return materials (raw crushed, roasted crushed and graphite crushed), among which petroleum coke and pitch coke can be divided into ordinary coke and There are two types of needle coke.

②Non-carbon solid raw materials. There are mainly metal powders for the production of electrical carbon, plant materials for the production of activated carbon, and silicon carbide and metal silicon for the production of microporous carbon bricks.

③Binder and impregnant. Mainly include coal pitch, petroleum pitch, synthetic resin, lubricant and low melting point alloy.

④ Modified additives. Mainly include coal tar, shallot oil, iron oxide and stearic acid. In addition, some auxiliary materials (insulation materials, fillers and resistance materials) are also used in the production of carbon materials, such as metallurgical coke, petroleum coke, carbon black, quartz sand, and river sand. The production of new carbon materials and special carbon materials is used Use some special raw materials, such as polypropylene wax fiber and gaseous organic matter.
