The difference in the properties of anthracite in different regions should be related to the geological age of the formation of anthracite. Since the raw coal in the Jincheng area is really heavier than the raw coal in the Yangquan area, it can explain why the strength of the anthracite in the Jincheng area is good, and why the anthracite in the Jincheng area has good oxidation resistance. Therefore, in the production process, if electric furnace carbon blocks and blast furnace carbon blocks are produced, first consider using calcined anthracite in Jincheng area.

There are some differences in the properties of anthracite after high temperature calcination.
