graphite for mechanical engineering industry
What problems should be paid attention to when using high-purity graphite molds?
1. High-purity graphite electrode is easy to be damp, and the product becomes soft after being damp, and the product with impact force is deformed. Water entering the high-purity graphite electrode will affect the raw materials. The raw material is diluted, and the chemical reaction further affects the quality. Waterproof measures must be completed.
2. The high-purity graphite electrode is of good quality and is not easy to damage, but it is placed gently, falling or tripping from a high place has little effect on the quality of the graphite acupuncture points, but this situation is cracked and cannot be remedied and can only be replaced.
3. The high purity graphite electrode cannot be heated on an open flame. Because its thermal conductivity is not good enough, heating on the top is meaningless, and it is unsightly if it is smoked or scorched underneath.
In the power industry, what is the use of graphite electrode fees?
As a conductive substance.
In the electronics industry, graphite is widely used in electrodes, brushes, carbon rods, carbon tubes, mercury rectifier positive electrodes, graphite washers, telephone parts, television picture tube coatings, etc. The graphite electrode requires a strong current to pass through the electrode into the furnace area to generate an electric arc, convert electrical energy into heat, and raise the temperature to about c°C for smelting and reaction. In addition, graphite electrodes are also used to electrolyze metal magnesium, aluminum and sodium at the anode of the electrolytic cell. The resistance furnace for making emery also uses graphite electrodes as conductive materials in the furnace head.
Graphite used in the power industry has higher requirements for its particle size and grade. For example, alkaline storage batteries and some special electric carbon products require the graphite particle size to be controlled in the range of ~ mesh (o.lm-o), the grade is 90%-99%, and the harmful impurities (mainly metal iron) are required to be less than 10 %. The graphite used in television picture tubes has a particle size requirement of less than 0.5bb.
